Joseph Burbella, AAMS®
Joe is Portfolio Manager at AJ Wealth. In this role he is responsible for asset allocation decisions, investment due diligence and selection, and providing customized investment advice to the firm’s clients. Prior to joining AJ Wealth, he was a Private Wealth Senior Relationship Manager at Merrill Lynch, where he began his career in 2012. At Merrill Lynch, Joe developed the team’s macro/micro investment outlook, provided research for the team’s equity, fixed income, and alternative investments strategies, constructed and implemented customized investment portfolios, directed the investment due diligence process, oversaw the trading of clients’ discretionary managed portfolios, and managed a range of reporting services.
Joe is a graduate of the University of Scranton, where he was a member of the Men’s Soccer team. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Finance, graduating first in his major class. Joe later went on to earn his MBA from Penn State. He holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist, AAMS® designation.
